About Mimesis Education

I started Mimesis Education to empower young teachers and those new to the classical model to thrive inside and out of the school building. In the classical education movement, we have an abundance of executive coaching for leadership, but too often teachers are left to fend for themselves. Even in schools that build in coaching to their staffs’ schedules, needs are not being met, and teachers are struggling. Worse, good teachers are leaving the field. The goal of Mimesis is to offer an extra, external support structure for these teachers to help them grow philosophically and pedagogically as well as to help schools retain excellent teachers.

About Paul Kearney

I have spent several years on the ground at different classical schools as a teacher and administrator and have been virtually coaching teachers for two years. I hold an M.A. in Classical Education from Hillsdale College and have been trained in coaching by the Human Formation Coalition. I am thrilled to use my knowledge and experience to help classical teachers grow in their own formation. My wife and I live in Grand Rapids, MI with our children.
